PT Visa Worldwide Indonesia (Visa Indonesia) and PT Pakar Digital Global (Paper.id) held an inauguration ceremony for their collaboration as well as the appointment of Paper.id as a business payment solution provider (BPSP) partner. The event was held in the form of a panel discussion entitled “Accelerate Your Business to New Heights” at the Fairmont Hotel Jakarta.

Attended by Yosia Sugialam, Founder & CEO Paper.id, Dessy Masri, Visa Indonesia’s Head of Products and Solutions, as well as start-up founders, banking partners, and influencers such as Fellexandro Ruby, William Gozali, Patricia Stephanie, and Theo Derrick, this event was aimed to educate attending business partners and potential clients about the increasingly massive and inclusive trend of digital payments, especially through the use of corporate credit cards to boost productivity in business.

Riko Abdurrahman, President Director of Visa Indonesia, stated, “Paper.id has grown to become Visa’s largest BPSP partner by transactions in Indonesia, and we are proud to embark on furthering our partnership and mutual growths in providing payments solutions to all sizes of businesses in the country. The opportunities for more efficient corporate spending can be boosted by becoming a Paper.id platform user and transacting within the Visa network worldwide, thereby streamlining processes and taking the most benefits out of this partnership. I believe Paper.id can grow from strength to strength and we look forward to widening our partnership in the future.”

Paper.id CEO & Co-founder, Yosia Sugialam stated “We are very pleased since Visa has trusted us as a payment platform for BPSP Visa business partners. This is a series of collaborations that Paper.id and Visa are doing to provide innovative business payment solutions and help not only corporate companies, but also MSMEs. This collaboration will make it very easy for businesses to use credit cards, and because they are widely accepted everywhere, business cash flow will run smoothly.”

As a BPSP partner, Paper.id helps process business payments for businesses to suppliers using credit cards in the Visa network. This payment can be made even if the supplier/vendor does not accept credit card payment options or does not provide an EDC machine. Businesses will get additional TOP (term of payment) by paying with credit card and credit card bills are not paid immediately by the cardholder, rather paid according to the credit card billing date.

Other payments operational costs such as for rent and so on, can be done easily. Finally, making and sending digital invoices can be done free of charge at Paper.id, recorded automatically and can be attached directly with the original e-stamp, because Paper.id is officially partnered with the national money printing company (PERURI).

This collaboration is expected to be a sign of the revolution in B2B payments in Indonesia, especially to suppliers/vendors. Now businesses can pay using many tools, including credit cards. Business payments become smoother, cashflow is safe while maximising the other benefits offered such as, point & miles.
